Wi-Fi at NAU
Most NAU Flagstaff campus buildings and statewide locations have wireless network access provided by ITS. We are constantly working to provide wireless access by increasing the number of access points and improving connectivity while moving between buildings.
NAU Network
The NAU network is a secure network available to faculty, staff, and students with an NAU userID and Password.
NAU Guest
The NAU Guest network is available to all NAU guests and provides basic access to Internet resources only.
Gaming and Media Devices
NAU Guest should also be used for devices that cannot connect to NAU Wi-Fi, which includes many media and gaming devices.

EduRoam (education roaming) is the secure, world-wide roaming access service developed for the international research and education community. EduRoam allows students, researchers, and staff from participating institutions to obtain Internet connectivity across campus and when visiting other participating institutions by simply opening their laptop.
Please remember when traveling, if you experience issues connecting to EduRoam, contact your institutional help desk. For assistance, call 928-523-3335 or 888-520-7215.
For more information, read our EduRoam article.
Wireless across campus
NAU ITS will be upgrading approximately 3,000 legacy access points around campus to improve the wireless connectivity for faculty, staff, and students. These changes will make NAU’s wireless network more resilient, secure, and intelligent while providing faster speeds for users. This upgrade will position NAU to provide a better wireless user experience while continuing to support the wide variety of devices across campus, such as mobile phones, laptops, tablets, gaming consoles, and other smart devices.
