Google Groups allows you to easily collaborate with your fellow students and instructors (if they also use Google Workplace for Education). Share documents with a group and that document is automatically shared to all members of that group. Manage one group’s membership, instead of managing the sharing permissions of several documents. You can also send an email directly to the group’s custom email address (that you create) and that email will be sent to all members of the group.

To request the creation of a Google Group, you can submit a request for a Google Group.
