ITS manages and maintains technology resources in support of NAU’s mission, vision, and strategic roadmap.
Northern Arizona University’s IT infrastructure environment consists of a variety of information, computing, and telecommunication systems designed to meet the needs of a complex higher education institution.
As Northern Arizona University’s “digital utility,” our administrative and academic systems employ web-delivered solutions that are user-friendly, promote a self-service capability, and support the better use of data for decision-making. Such systems will make important information more readily available, thereby improving access to the University’s information resources and enhancing the effectiveness of information analysis across university departments. Our administrators, scholars, and researchers expect the University’s IT systems to be like other utilities—always available.

ITS supports Instructure’s Canvas learning management system for learning and instruction at NAU.
In conjunction with ModoLabs, ITS manages and maintains the NAUgo application, available for download on the Apple App Store as well as the Google Play Store.
Wireless Networking (Wi-Fi Services)
ITS’ Network Operations Center (NOC) Maintains NAU’s wireless networking capabilities for all NAU campuses, including statewide locations.
LOUIE & Peoplesoft
ITS maintains the PeopleSoft environment for the NAU community to enroll in classses, manage HR tasks, and more.
In partnership with Microsoft, NAU offers all students, faculty, and staff free A5 licensing for Microsoft 365 at no additional cost.
