Andrea Stalker, Director Accordion Closed
Andrea Stalker is the Director of SPIES (Strategic Planning, Implementation, and Education Services) within ITS. She earned her Bachelor of Science in History, Master of Arts in History, and Masters in Administration – Project Management, all from NAU. Andrea is part of the ITS leadership team and serves as a Project Manager on various strategic initiatives across the institution.
Jeremy Sanderlin, Associate Director Accordion Closed
Jeremy Sanderlin is a certified Project Management Professional on the SPIES Team. He earned his Bachelors in Computer Engineering from Purdue University and his Master’s in Internet Technology from the University of Georgia. Jeremy is part of the ITS leadership team and serves as a Project Manager on various strategic initiatives across the institution. Currently, Jeremy is also the acting Chair for the Strategic Project Review and Resourcing Committee (SPRRC) for 2020.

Carlos Rojas, Project Manager Team Lead Accordion Closed
Carlos Rojas is the lead of the project portfolio management team. Carlos spent 10 years in the military special operations community before moving over to the civilian world. Carlos is a certified Project Management Professional and SCRUM Master who has led major projects at multiple organizations including Solera, NAH, Gore, Arizona State Hospital, the Department of Defense, and the CDC. Carlos earned his Bachelors degree from Concordia University and he completed the Physician Assistant Program at Penn State.
April Cook, Senior Project Manager Accordion Closed
April Cook is a Senior Project Manager in Information Technology Services. She has earned her Master’s degree in Administration with an emphasis in Project Management. She recently received her Project Management Professional Certification.
She has been at NAU since 2003 where she started working as a student worker and grew into a professional employee. During her time at NAU she has worked in Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and now Information Technology. She was involved in the original Salesforce implementation on campus and was the project manager for the Integrated Planning and Advising for Student Success grant on campus. She now is the portfolio manager for Academic Affairs, Enrollment Management and Student Affairs, Human Resources, and Capital Planning and Campus Operations.
Kathleen Tanner, Project Manager Accordion Closed
Kathleen Tanner is a project manager for the project portfolio management office in ITS. She is a certified project management professional and scrum master with over 15 years’ experience helping companies implement strategic projects and improve their business processes. Kathleen’s industry experience includes healthcare, finance, ecommerce and automotive.
Marc Dungler, Project Manager Accordion Closed
Marc Dungler is a is a project manager for the project portfolio management office in ITS. A native of France, Marc earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from INSA Lyon. Marc moved to Houston Texas early on in his career working as a software developer then as a development manager leading real time data applications projects and large enterprise systems projects for the oil & gas and mining industries. Before joining NAU he managed several AI related projects as an independent consultant. Marc is an avid runner, having completed 34 marathons. He also enjoys photography and astronomy.
Grace Ditsworth, Program Coordinator Accordion Closed
Grace Ditsworth (Pronouns: they/them/theirs) is a Program Coordinator for the Project Portfolio Management Office in ITS. They come from a diverse professional background, including undergraduate career services, massage therapy, holistic health and organizational coaching, mobile application development, and post-ward grant administration.
Vlad Accordion Closed
Vlad is a professional service dog and self-appointed Director of Project Management. Having been professionally trained in seizure detection and Project Management best practices, he serves as an important part of the ITS PMO team. Vlad is a Black Russian Terrier and proud Lumberjack. He has a Bachelors degree in Belly Rubs from NAU, a Master’s degree in Napping from Oxford University, and a Doctorate in Dropped Snack Physics from Harvard (allegedly). In his off time Vlad enjoys walks, fine cheeses, being petted, and attending Baseball Games (Go Angels!).
Amy Fouts, Systems Analyst Intermediate Accordion Closed
Amy Fouts is a Systems Analyst, Intermediate with in the ITS SPIES Team. She has a degree in Speech Communication from Northern Kentucky University. Amy has been with NAU since 2018 bringing with her years of prior experience in technology, processes, testing and leadership.
Jared Logan, Senior Systems Analyst Accordion Closed
Jared Logan is a Senior Systems Analyst within the ITS SPIES Team. He has earned his Master’s in Business Administration degree (MBA) in addition to certifications as a Professional Project Manager (PMP), and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. Jared has been at NAU since 2018 with over a decade of prior experience in leadership and technology within both public and private business sectors (healthcare, government, and higher education).
Kathleen Ellis, Systems Analyst Team Lead Accordion Closed
Kathleen Ellis is a Systems Analyst, Team Lead. She has been at NAU since 2009, where she started working in the Bursars Office. Kathleen is an NAU alum, earning her Bachelor’s degree in 2007. She became a Certified Associate Project Manager (CAPM) in 2016 and is working towards a certification as a Business Analyst Professional (CBAP).
Kyle Cawood, Systems Analyst Team Lead Accordion Closed
Kyle Cawood is a Systems Analyst, Team Lead and has been at NAU since 2004 where he started as an academic advisor. He has earned a Master’s of Science in counseling as well as a Master’s in Administration – Public Management and is currently working towards his certification as a Business Analyst Professional (CBAP).

Mark Niles is a Senior Systems Analyst within the ITS SPIES Team. He earned a of Business Administration at the University of Cincinnati. Mark started working at NAU in 2014 as a Business Analyst for ITS. Mark has achieved the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management.

Audrey O’Connell, Senior Instructional Designer Accordion Closed
Audrey is a Senior Instructional Designer and has been with the Learning and Professional Development team since 2014. She has a B.S. in Electronic Media and Film with an emphasis in Entertainment Management and an M.Ed. in Educational Technology from NAU.
When she isn’t building online trainings, Audrey can be found spending time with her husband and their two perfect dogs.
Sarah Lipsey, Staff Specialist Instructional Designer Accordion Closed
Sarah has been working in the training and instructional design industry since 2007, after receiving a Master’s Degree in Literacy, Technology and Professional Writing from NAU. Sarah returned to her hometown of Omaha, Nebraska to begin her career at West Corporation, creating online training for call center agents for clients like Sirius XM Radio, Citibank, and Harrah’s Casinos. Sarah then joined Union Pacific in 2011, where she implemented new rail yard management software across the Union Pacific network. In 2015, Sarah returned to Flagstaff to join the Learning and Professional Development team at NAU. Since returning to Flagstaff, Sarah applied her training and implementation experience to higher education and incorporating organizational change management into the training and implementation efforts in ITS.
