Next generation science standards

Welcome! The purpose of this web page is to provide instructors with curriculum resources for the new Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). The NGSS have yet to be accepted by Arizona, but that should not keep you from utilizing the material on this web page. Although these activities were designed with the NGSS in mind, they can be used just as effectively in accordance with the current science standards.

These activities were designed based on the Middle School Disciplinary Core Ideas of the NGSS. However, these activities can be altered to fit the standards of other grade levels. Additionally, all of the material on this web page is intended to be fully editable so you can modify each activity as you see fit, based on the needs and abilities of your students.
