If you or an NAU student you know are experiencing difficulties that impact ability to succeed, we welcome you to submit a CARE Referral. The CARE Team will assess the referral and reach out to offer support and connection to resources as appropriate within 1-2 business days.
Please note that review of these referrals will not take place outside of normal business hours.
A CARE Referral should not be used if crisis or immediate response is needed. Please call 911 or utilize crisis resources. We encourage you to submit a CARE Referral after urgent needs are taken care of for support and follow-up. The referral can also be completed to share a non-imminent concern regarding campus community safety.
Jacks Care 24/7 offers students free emergency and ongoing short-term counseling support via text, chat, and phone/video by downloading the TELUS Student Support app or by calling (866) 656-9983.
Faculty who wish to share academic concerns should do so via F2S comments rather than a CARE Referral. More information can be found on the Faculty 2 Student Outreach page.
