Friday, September 11 Accordion Closed
Morning Mingle
- Location: Community, Leadership, Alliances, and Belonging (CoLAB) Center
- Time: 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Open Hours free access to the Wall Aquatic Center
- Time: 11:30 a.m. -1:30 p.m.
First-Stop Family Weekend Welcome Tent
- Location: University Union West Lawn
- Time: 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
First Annual Family Weekend Pickleball Tournament
- Check-In Location: Campus Recreation Services MAC Gym (located in the Health & Learning Center)
- Time: 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Check-in begins at 3:30 p.m.
- Format: 2-on-2 teams
- Cost: $30 per team, each team must register (20 team capacity)
- Pickleball paddles will be provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own equipment
Annual Hotel & Restaurant Management Casino Night
- Location: duBois ballroom
- Time: 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
- Tickets: available via the NAU Central Ticketing Office
- NAU Students (with NAU Student ID): $20 (ticket holder will receive $400 in “casino funny money” chips to be used on the gaming tables/bingo at the event)
- General Admission: $25 (buys $500 in “casino funny money” chips)
- VIP Admission: $40 (buys $800 in “casino funny money” chips)
Prochnow Presents Magician Derek Hughes
- Location: Prochnow Auditorium
- Time: Doors open at 7:00 p.m.; Show starts at 8:00 p.m.

Family Weekend 5K run/walk
- Check-In Location: Athletic & Tennis Complex Field parking lot (across from the Health & Learning Center and adjacent to the Wall Aquatic Center)
- Time: Check-in begins at 7:30 a.m.; 5K begins at 8:15 a.m.
- Cost: Free, all attendees must register
- First 200 participants to check in will receive a free shirt; sizes first come, first served
First-Stop Family Weekend Welcome Tent
- Location: Ponderosa/Skydome
- Time: 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Family Weekend BBQ
- Location: Ponderosa/Skydome
- Time: 10:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
- Tickets: available via the NAU Central Ticketing Office
- NAU Student with meal plan: Free
- NAU Student without meal plan: $14
- Regular: $16
- Youth (12 and under): $12
Football Game
- Location: Skydome
- Time: 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- Tickets: available via NAU Athletics Ticket Central

Campus Recreation Lava Tubes/Aspen Corner Hike
- The Trip: Are you wanting to give your family a warm Flagstaff welcome during Family Weekend? What better way to do it than showing them two of the most intriguing and beautiful places that Northern Arizona has to offer! Enjoy the first half of the day exploring an underground tunnel system created by lava flow, and the second half exploring the beautiful aspen grove and views of the San Francisco peaks.
- Location: Flagstaff, AZ – Meet in the lobby of the Health & Learning Center
- Time: 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- Cost: Free, all attendees must register (20 participant capacity)
- Food: Lunch and snacks will be provided

- Time: 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
- Cost: Free

The Family Weekend parking permit coupled with an ADA hang tag will allow families to park in any ADA spot or next closest non-reserved space
