Open Enrollment

October 31st – November 18th

Open Enrollment is your yearly opportunity to make changes to your benefits without a Qualified Life Event such as getting married.

  • If you do not make changes to your benefits during Open Enrollment your current benefit selections will carry over to 2023.
  • The one exception is Flexible Spending Accounts – to participate in a Flexible Spending Account for 2023 you must make an election during Open Enrollment.
  • Any changes you make to your benefits will be effective January 1, 2023.

UnitedHealthcare (UHC) Solstice Dental Plan will replace CIGNA Dental as the provider for the State of AZ Pre-Paid Dental\DHMO Plan. The premiums remain the same.   If you are currently enrolled in CIGNA DHMO Plan, you will be transferred to the UHC DHMO Plan unless you change your dental selection.

Benefit Improvements

To better meet the needs of you and your family NAU will be improving the following benefits and policies.

  • Parental Leave – NAU will now offer eligible employees up to 12 weeks of paid parental leave.
  • Savi Essential Service:  Employees can now register for the Essential Service with Savi at no cost.
