Join Our Presidential Leadership Fellows Spring 2027 Cohort!

A unique opportunity for students

The Presidential Leadership Fellows (PLF) is a student leadership development program offered by the Office of Leadership and Engagement. We are seeking outstanding students with a sophomore/junior academic status to form the Spring 2027 cohort.

The program will focus on the following areas: Modeling the Way, Inspiring a Shared Vision, Challenging the Process, Enabling Others to Act, and Encouraging the Heart. A common thread throughout the program is the need to discuss and reflect upon Inclusive Excellence. We will thread inclusive leadership throughout the program to enhance one’s leadership style.

In the spring, we will gather for 5-6 sessions:
Dates and times will be determined in the Fall 2026.

Who should attend

Eligible students will be sophomores and juniors in spring 2027 with a 2.5 cumulative GPA or higher. Eligible students will also display outstanding leadership potential through their involvement and contributions to Northern Arizona University, across a diverse array of leadership experiences and academic disciplines.

Note: 20-30 participants will be selected as Fellows.
