Learn more about the many Fraternity and Sorority Life chapters at NAU.

Each of our fraternities and sororities falls under one of three councils: the Interfraternity Council, the College Panhellenic Council, and the United Greek Council. Refer to our councils’ page to learn more about each of the councils. Below you will find a list of all 32 organizations and under which council they fall.

Northern Arizona University’s Interfraternity Council (IFC) serves as the governing body to 14 social fraternities.

Northern Arizona University’s United Greek Council serves as the governing body to 2 fraternities and 5 sororities who identify as cultural or have organizing principles that celebrate traditionally underrepresented students in the student body.

Currently, NAU Fraternity and Sorority Life has two historically African American sororities, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. We also have one historically African American fraternity, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated. We are excited to continue to expand and add additional historically African American fraternities and sororities to your Greek community in the near future.
