Socialize Safer
COVID-19 Student Health and Safety
If you are planning to be social, there are ways to reduce the risk to yourself and others. However, all in person activities come with some level of risk, even when wearing a mask and maintaining physical distance.
Avoid the 3 C’s
- Closed confined spaces with poor ventilation
- Crowded places – more people leads to more risk
- Close contact settings– especially with those outside your “team” where close conversations are happening
The highest risk occurs when you have all three of these conditions .

- Increased length of time spent with other people
- Sharing items with others
- Use of public transportation
- Number of in-person interactions
