COVID-19 Testing Clinic: “I’ve had close contact, and I have no symptoms.”
Campus Health Services is offering ongoing COVID testing clinics every week. We are now offering PCR or rapid Antigen tests. Both are anterior nares self -swabs. PCR is usually back in 2-3 days. Antigen tests usually will have results in 60 – 120 minutes.
These tests are being administered at the HLC South Gym, entrance off Mountain View Drive.
- Mondays 1:15pm-3:45pm
- Tuesdays 1:15 pm-3:45pm
- Wednesdays 1:15pm-3:45pm
- Thursdays 1:15pm-3:45pm
- Fridays 1:15pm-3:15pm
Important information before you come in:
- These clinics are for people who do not have any symptoms but have been in contact with a known positive person.
- Keep in mind the best time to get tested is 6 days after exposure. Having a test too early can give a false negative result. You can schedule your appointment online by logging into your CHS Portal, selecting “Appointments” then “Schedule an Appointment” then “COVID Clinic * (asymptomatic testing, same day result, South Gym entrance of HLC)
Symptomatic Testing: “I have symptoms or feel ill.”
Please call Campus Health Services or your primary care provider to schedule an appointment. We can offer rapid, onsite testing, with results in 30 – 120 minutes or send out testing that usually takes 2-10 days. Testing is only available until 4pm.
COVID APPOINTMENTS NOW BY TELEMEDICINE AND ZOOM
Feeling ill? We will now be seeing patients with COVID like symptoms that are not severe by telemedicine. Be cared for in the comfort of your own home and avoid exposure to other infections that an in person visit might expose you to. These telemedicine appointments require that you have a camera that you can use on your device during the appointment. If you have at home a thermometer and pulse oximeter or can acquire these, please write down your temperature and pulse ox prior to the appointment.
If you have severe symptoms like chest pain, severe abdominal pain, or severe shortness of breathing limiting your ability to speak or move, please call 911 and go to the emergency room.
HOW DO I SCHEDULE?
Please call Campus Health Serves at 928-523-2131 to schedule a telemedicine appointment or schedule online
Please note that if your symptoms seem concerning or if the oxygen is too low you may be directed to be seen in person at our urgent care or sent to the Emergency Room.
At the appointment, the provider can order COVID or other tests and then you will be directed when to go to the clinic for the tests.
“What will it cost me to get a COVID test at Campus Health Services?” Is it free?
There is a fee for COVID rapid testing at CHS. Charges will be billed to insurance plans with which we are contracted or directly to the patient. Coverage of the cost varies by insurance company and plan. For students whose health insurance does not cover COVID-19 testing or for those without insurance, testing is available at a reduced rate.
Mitigation/sentinel Testing: “I got an email from NAU to schedule an appointment to get tested.”
Mitigation testing will begin again on Wednesday January 6th in the University Union Fieldhouse. Individual notifications will be sent to those who will be tested. This test is also available for free for the Flagstaff community. Registration is required. Regular hours are 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday-Saturday.
Please wear a mask or face covering when you come in for any services.
We will update this site periodically based on CDC recommendations and available resources.
