Depending on where you live and whether you have symptoms, testing is available at the following locations.
  • Coconino County Health Services
  • Arizona Department of Health Services

COVID-19 Testing

Campus Health Services offers COVID testing. We offer PCR or rapid Antigen tests. Both are anterior nasal self -swabs. PCR is usually back in 2-3 days. Antigen tests usually will have results in 60 – 120 minutes. Testing at NAU Campus Health may be associated with a charge, depending on insurance status. Please schedule an appointment with a provider for this testing.

  • Keep in mind the best time to get tested is 5 days after exposure. If you develop symptoms, please come in immediately.
  • What is the difference between Self Isolation and Self Quarantine?

Need a home test?

NAU employees can buy an at-home rapid test at a market or pharmacy and be reimbursed for it through their health insurance company. If you are enrolled in the NAU BCBSAZ PPO or HDHP\HSA you are eligible for over counter (OTC) at-home rapid COVID-19 tests at no cost.

Please see the NAU HR webpage for the steps and types of tests approved.

Campus Health does not have any at-home rapid antigen tests available at this time.
