Withdrawing from all classes

Withdrawing from any given term (fall, winter, spring, or summer) at Northern Arizona University means reducing your course load to zero units only for that specific term. In most cases, students who withdraw from one term are eligible to enroll for the next term. For more information, check out our important dates and deadlines.
Before the “drop with ‘W’ deadline”
If you are enrolled and wish to withdraw from the term prior to the drop with a “W” deadline, you can officially withdraw using the on-line LOUIE system and no paperwork is necessary. Simply modify your schedule by clicking on the “Drop a Class” link.
After the “drop with ‘W’ deadline” or after the Term Withdrawal deadline
If you would like to withdraw after the “drop with a ‘W’ deadline,” but before the last day to officially withdraw from the university, you will need to complete the “Withdrawal” form (Word | PDF). No additional documentation is required. Submit your form to the Registrar’s office in person, fax it to 928-523-1414, or mail to:
