Project Application Accordion Closed
Fill out the Project Application as a PDF or in .docx format to submit to the committee in an email to GreenFund@nau.edu. Applications are reviewed on a weekly basis during the academic year.

A letter of support is required for all projects that are submitted to the Green Fund. Here is a template to help you: Green Fund Letter of Support Template
Please do not submit a proposal solely for the purpose of fulfilling an extra credit requirement; if your professor offers extra credit for Green Fund proposals, we request that you ensure your ability and intent to follow through on any project proposed.

Student Research Grant Application Accordion Closed
The Green Fund Student Research Grant is a semesterly application that will accept research proposals each Fall and Spring. Grants will be awarded using rolling deadlines and the committee will enforce a priority date with a soft close during week 12 of the semester. Due to limited time and a reduction in weekly meetings at the end of the semester, the committee may not review applications submitted after. Funds will be allocated at the beginning of each semester and as grants are approved, that pool may diminish prior to the end of the semester. All full-time NAU students, undergraduate and graduate, may apply for funding. Visit here for more information on the submission process.
Conference Funding Application Accordion Closed
We are not currently accepting conference funding applications.
Fill out the Conference Funding Application before traveling to be reviewed for reimbursement.
Within two weeks of returning from the conference, all attendees must complete and submit a “J” (travel expense) Form, along with all conference-related receipts, to GreenFund@nau.edu to initiate the reimbursement process.

Event Sponsorship Application Accordion Closed
Fill out the Event Sponsorship Application to have an event sponsored by the Green Fund.
Project Addendum Proposal Form Accordion Closed
If your project has already been approved and something happens that necessitates more funding, we offer you the opportunity to fill out our Project Addendum Proposal Form to ask for more funding. The Green Fund committee has no obligation to provide further funding, but we may choose to.
Project Follow-Up Forms Accordion Closed
Fill out the Project Follow-Up Form and email it to GreenFund@nau.edu with two weeks of the Green Fund reimbursing the funding department of your project. The purpose of this form is for your team to give us feedback on the Green Fund project process from submission to completion, to provide a future contact for the project, and other important post-project updates.
