At a Path to Care appointment, many different resources may be discussed. Below is a list of some of the common links and phone numbers that may be addressed.
Crisis Counseling resources:

- National Suicide Hotline & Texting line: 1-800-273-8255 or text “Matters” to 741741
- NAU Counseling Services: call 928-523-2261 and ask for an urgent counseling appointment.
Off-campus Counseling options:
This website has a list of therapists in the community, and you can filter the results by insurance to identify counselors that accept your insurance.
Balance Mental Health & Wellness offers lower cost counseling services and has free drop-in services at The Corner.
Psychiatric Services:
Treatment of mental health disorders, often by use of medications, is available both on- and off-campus. Call 928-523-2131 to schedule an appointment with Campus Health Services, or use psychology today listings to identify psychiatric providers who accept your insurance.
