The next NAU New Faculty Orientation will be held throughout the week of August 21, 2023.
New Faculty Orientation Week
*Monday, August 21, 2023 from 2:30 – 4:30 pm
HR Benefits and New Faculty Resource Fair
Location: TBD
New faculty benefits presentation and resource fair to learn about various NAU departments and to answer some of the first-day concerns you may have. The formal presentation will be available in Zoom also.
*Wednesday, August 23, 2023 from 9 am – 3:30 pm, registration at 8:30 am
New Faculty Orientation Program
Location: High Country Conference Center
This all-day event introduces you to our NAU administration and provides breakout sessions on topics relevant to new faculty. This event will be available in Zoom also.
Thursday, August 24, 2023 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm

This event is designed to assist new faculty in meeting their NAU colleagues.

Open House and Coffee Hour
Location: Teaching & Learning Center in Cline Library Room 169
Drop in to meet the staff of the TLC and find out what we do. Food and drinks provided.

Productive Beginnings: Resources for Your First Year
- The Faculty Professional Development Program offers Productive Beginnings: Resources for Your First Year. This monthly series is designed to assist new faculty throughout the first year at NAU. This series is designed for faculty members new to teaching at NAU and is by invitation only. Topics vary each month and all new faculty will receive an invitation.
- This program matches new faculty members with experienced faculty members to help you get off to a great start at NAU.
