Weather you are going for a semester abroad or traveling for business or personal reasons CHS can help you prepare for your trip. Individualized travel advise based on your health status and destination may include:
- Required and recommended vaccinations
- Malaria or other illness prophylaxis
- Recommended medication for common travelers’ illness.
- First aide recommendations

Vaccines available through NAU Campus Health Services include:
- Hepatitis A
- Hepatitis B
- Influenza
- Japanese Encephalitis
- MMR (measles, mumps, rubella)
- Meningococcal
- Pneumonia
- Tetanus
- Typhoid
- Twinrix (Hepatitis A & B)
- Varicella (chicken pox)
A travel appointment should be scheduled as far in advance as possible since some vaccines are given as a series over a six-month period.
