QPR: Question, Persuade, Refer

QPR is an evidence-based training that helps prevent suicide by empowering learners to:

  1. Recognize mental health warning signs among peers
  2. Engage in supportive conversation
  3. Make effective referrals to professional counseling resources

The training takes less that one hour to complete.

Note:  QPR is a training that discusses concepts, examples and stories related to suicide and suicide prevention. We recognize that many students have been personally affected by this topic and that it may be emotionally activating or intense for some individuals. If, during the training, you need additional support please reach out to Counseling Services at (928) 523-2131 or JacksCare 24/7 at (866) 656-9983 or visit this page for additional resources.
