Strengthening College Brands Within the NAU Brand Framework
NAU’s eight college-level brands are designed to align with the institutional brand while maintaining distinct identities that help each college connect authentically with its audiences. A college brand is more than logos or visual assets—it shapes how you communicate, the stories you tell, and how your college is recognized, all while supporting NAU’s long-term vision.
During fall 2025, Academic Affairs Marketing (AAM) met with leadership teams from each academic college to review both the NAU institutional brand and individual college brands. These conversations focused on current and future brand applications, shared goals, and opportunities for alignment and growth.
What’s Coming Next
Building on those discussions, AAM is now developing college brand quick guides and dedicated brand collections in Mediagraph for each college. These resources are intended to support brand socialization and provide clear, practical guidance for applying college brands across communications.
Following the release of these resources, next steps may include brand trainings, workshops, or targeted refinement efforts—identified collaboratively with college partners to ensure support is relevant, timely, and useful.
As this work continues, AAM remains focused on helping colleges apply their brands consistently and confidently, while amplifying the unique character that makes each college distinct.
