Vet Jacks Veteran Student Mentoring Program

Success is rarely accomplished alone

NAU’s Veteran Student Mentoring Program is for students who have served or are currently serving, transitioning from military life or from another college to NAU.

Your NAU Vet Jacks are a team of seasoned student veterans who have experienced the transition from military to higher education. The Vet Jacks provide one-on-one mentoring and are resource navigators from GI Bill® and VA benefits to academic success strategies to career development and more. Students are matched with peer student veterans within their general field of study and take a team approach to student success. The VSC Mentoring Program builds a sense of community at Northern Arizona University for those who have served. If are new to NAU, your VET JACK mentor will be reaching out to you prior to your first day of class. We look forward to working with you!
