Northern Arizona University offers the U.S Department of Veteran Affairs Yellow Ribbon Program to an unlimited number of eligible students. The Yellow Ribbon Program allows NAU and the VA make matching contributions toward your education expenses. The Yellow Ribbon Program also allows for payment of additional costs beyond what the Post-9/11 GI Bill® pays.

Eligibility criteria:

• All students using Chapter 33 Post 9/11 with 100% rating and are Eligible for Yellow Ribbon. To verify eligibility please review your Certificate of Eligibility.
• Please review your residency status prior. Under the Veterans Choice Act you could be eligible for in-state tuition and yellow ribbon will no longer be needed. Residency must be established prior to yellow ribbon acceptance
• Yellow ribbon is only given to those who have eligibility in yellow ribbon. Lack of months or VA funding per student could result in the removal of yellow ribbon funding from Northern Arizona University at any time.
