Summer and Winter Online Appointments
The University Writing Commons is excited to offer online writing appointments for Summer and Winter sessions! We encourage students, staff, and faculty to take advantage of appointment availability during these sessions, whether that be for courses taken during the Winter or Summer, to work on a Thesis or Dissertation, or to handle that one project that hasn’t quite been tackled yet.
How online appointments work
Summer and Winter online appointments are hour-long sessions, where writers work one-on-one with a Graduate Writing Assistant. We use WCONLINE as our platform for online appointments. Please be sure to create your WCONLINE account, and select the appointment block that would work best for you utilizing our WCONLINE Basics and Creation. Papers will not be accepted ahead of the appointment, but instead are uploaded into your appointment on WCONLINE.
Summer session appointments are typically available the week after the Spring semester has ended, and extend through the week before the following Fall semester begins. Winter session appointments typically begin the week after Finals and extend through the week before the following Spring semester begins.
How to schedule an appointment
Please visit WCONLINE to create your free account utilizing your NAU email, then check the appropriate schedule (e.g. Summer 2022) to see what availability there is for that semester, as well as schedule your appointment.
