Lumberjack Writing Center
The Lumberjack Writing Center strives to create an inclusive and supportive environment for all writers, including undergrads and graduate students, faculty, and staff at NAU.
Our services include individual tutoring, asynchronous review, drop-in writing support, workshops, certifications, and more. In an LWC tutoring session you can expect to work with a trained undergraduate or graduate student. We support all genres of writing and all stages of the writing process, including interpreting assignments, generating ideas and outlining, research, grammar/mechanics, revising, presentations, group projects, and much more. Our goal is to encourage the development of strong writing skills across the university.
Spring 2025 Drop-In Hours
During the spring 2025 semester, students can access drop-in writing support at Cline Library (Rm. 240) or online from 9am-12pm every Wednesday. You do not need to set up an appointment to attend Drop-In Hours. To access the Zoom meeting link for online Drop-In Hours, email us at writingcenter@nau.edu.
