The Green Fund Student Research Grant
In accordance with the Green Fund’s mission to reduce NAU’s negative impact on the environment and contribute to a culture of sustainability on campus, the Green Fund Student Research Grant was created during the fall 2019 term with the vision of incentivizing solution-oriented research on sustainable initiatives local to Flagstaff and NAU.
The Green Fund Student Research Grant is a semesterly application that will accept research proposals each Fall and Spring. Grants will be awarded using rolling deadlines and the committee will enforce a priority date with a soft close during week 12 of the semester. Due to limited time and a reduction in weekly meetings at the end of the semester, the committee may not review applications submitted after. Funds will be allocated at the beginning of each semester and as grants are approved, that pool may diminish prior to the end of the semester. All full-time NAU students, undergraduate and graduate, may apply for funding. We eagerly await the opportunity to review applications.
