We are all exposed to stress, suffering, and the trauma of other people in our personal and professional lives. This workshop is designed for faculty, staff, and helpers who have been witnesses to the suffering of others. We will address secondary trauma, self-care, and answer some of your burning questions about stress, trauma, and how to support students and/or loved ones going through life-changing events like sexual assault.

This is a two-part series, participants are encouraged to attend both, though it is not necessary. In part two (Best Life) we identify tools and techniques that aid us in cultivating resilience to stress, including practicing happiness, self-regulation, and creating more meaningful connections.

Money is so much a part of our daily lives, yet many of us don’t feel comfortable talking about it. Although we might have crossed our fingers and wished that the abundant love we felt and still feel for our partner would lead to financial harmony without any discussion, it hasn’t! This workshop will focus on how to identify the meaning we place on money, and how to have the conversations we might dread having, but this can improve how we communicate with and understand ourselves and our partners.

EAW Continues to provide individual counseling:
Employee Assistance and Wellness (EAW) operations have changed temporarily, which includes moving all individual counseling sessions to online (via HIPAA compliant Zoom) or telephonic counseling sessions. If you are an existing EAW client with an upcoming appointment, you will receive a Zoom number or link for your session. If you are seeking urgent counseling services or referrals, please call 928-523-1552 and we will return your call as soon as possible.
We are not a crisis counseling clinic, however, should you or someone you know need crisis counseling, call the Crisis Response Network at 877-756-4090.
