QPR suicide prevention training 

QPR: Question, Persuade, Refer. NAU has launched a suicide prevention training program that is now available to all NAU faculty and staff.

The QPR training provides instructions on how to question, persuade and make appropriate referrals to someone who may be suicidal. The training also covers common signs of suicidal behavior, warning signs of suicide, and how to get help for someone in crisis. We encourage everyone to take this free online training.
Instructions on how to access the course:

1. Navigate to: qprtraining.com/setup
2. Enter the organization code NAU-EMPLOYEE
3. Select Create Account
   
4. Complete and submit student registration form 
5. QPR will display and email the newly created username and password
6. QPR participant may log in and begin the training at qprtraining.com.

Anyone with the organization code NAU-EMPLOYEE can create an account using the NAU license, however it is restricted for individuals within the @NAU.EDU email domain. Please note, to advance through program, use the blue “Continue” button and not the arrow near the top of the page.
