Venue Policies

Food & Drink

No Food, Drink, or Gum are permitted inside Ardrey Auditorium and Kitt Recital Hall. These items are also generally prohibited onstage and backstage unless specific approval has been granted. Questions or special circumstances should be discussed with Auditoria in advance.

House & Stage Etiquette

Do not put feet on the backs of other chairs or railings.

Only use proper stage and house entrances. Jumping on/off stage is prohibited.

Sitting on the edge of stage is prohibited; particularly in Kitt Recital Hall due to the delicate wood stage facing.

Scooters, bikes, and wheeled vehicles (excepting patron mobility devices) are not permitted inside the Performing & Fine Arts Building.

NAU Clear Bag Policy

At the request of some event organizers, a Clear Bag Policy may be in effect and clearly outlined in all event and ticketing pages. To enhance public safety and make accessing various venues more efficient, NAU has adopted a clear bag policy for major events. When the policy is in effect, each attendee may bring into the venue a clear drawstring bag no larger than 16” x 18” when flat, a clear tote bag no larger than 12″ x 6″ x 12″, or a one-gallon resealable plastic freezer bag (Ziploc or similar).

One clear bag per person is allowed, along with a small clutch purse for privacy. All items guests wish to bring into the venue, including clear bags, are subject to being searched prior to entry.
