| Ardrey Memorial Auditorium
Located in the center of Northern Arizona University’s campus, Ardrey Memorial Auditorium is the largest and premiere performing arts center in Northern Arizona. Ardrey features 1350 seats and a stunning lobby that provides an opportunity for patrons to experience local art including the ceramic series, The Planets by Paula Rice as well as a glass piece Canyon Depth by Kevin Ragaller. Ardrey not only plays a key role in contributing cultural and intellectual growth of NAU’s faculty, staff and students but also the Flagstaff community and all of Northern Arizona.
Ardrey Auditorium is a central part in the campus experience at NAU. Ardrey Memorial Auditorium sits as the cornerstone to the Performing and Fine Arts Building, encompassing not only Ardrey Auditorium, but Kitt Recital Hall, Clifford E. White Theater, the NAU Kitt School of Music, the NAU Department of Theatre, and the NAU School of Art+Design.
Ardrey Auditorium has successfully hosted and strives to host a wide variety of nationally and internationally renowned artists. In providing the highest quality of performances, this venue creates unforgettable cultural and artistic experiences for its patrons. Past performers have included Billy Joel, Jerry Seinfeld, Willie Nelson, Ron White, Itzhak Perlman, Pilobolus Dance, Lulu Washington Dance Co, and Lord of the Dance. The hall is home to the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra and the Master Chorale of Flagstaff as well as hosting performers from all over the world.
Venue Specific Information for Reservations
- Seats 1,300 in total! There are roughly 900 seats on the orchestra level, and 400 seats in the balcony.
- Best suited for large ensemble performances, or events with an expected attendance of over 250.
- Food & drink is not allowed inside Ardrey Memorial Auditorium with the exception of bottled water. To hold a catered reception prior to or post another event please inquire about the availability of the Kitt Atrium space or Ashurst Hall.
- This venue requires at least 9 Auditoria employees to be staffed to ensure a smoothly executed event. You can ask for a quote to get an estimate of labor costs before the event, but they are subject to change as the actual time of your event set-up and clean-up may vary slightly. As such, the labor costs for holding an event here will be much more substantial than an event held in Kitt Recital Hall or Ashurst Hall, which require a minimum of 3 employees to staff an event.

- Parking information for visitors can be found on the NAU Parking webpage.
- Ardrey Auditorium Technical Form is required for every event in Ardrey Memorial Auditorium four weeks prior.
