Student Group Events

Student groups can rent one of our venues at a discounted rate. You will be invoiced for the room rate and labor costs once your event is over – equipment use is all included! Ashurst Hall is a prime location for many student group events, because of the flexibility of the space to suit many types of events and the affordability.

If any of these policies are broken there may be an extra charge for any clean-up or damages, or your group may be banned from renting a space from the Auditoria again in the future.

• No smoking or vaping of any kind is allowed in the building
• No alcohol possession or consumption
• No hitting/throwing large objects that could damage the lights or other equipment
• No water/food/messy substances allowed on the stage. This includes eggs, shaving cream, jelly, flour, etc. – there is a lot of electrical equipment that could be damaged
• No jumping on/off the edge of the stage
• No using equipment for anything other than its intended purpose
• No fire of any kind
• No helium balloons
• No glitter

All student groups are required to complete the Campus Events Form as well as obtain approval from True Blue Connects.
