KSOM Livestreams & Video Recording Support
Auditoria provides livestreaming, recording, and archival services for many Kitt School of Music performances. Recording options vary by event type, so organizers should communicate recording needs as early as possible.
Ticketed Performances
Most ticketed ensemble performances include both livestreaming and recording services.
- Ticketed performances will typically offer a paid Virtual Livestream option unless otherwise specified.
- A high-quality 1080p recording of the performance will be provided to the ensemble or event organizer.
- Virtual ticket sales and livestream access are coordinated through Auditoria and the Central Ticket Office (CTO).
Virtual Ticket Access Accordion Closed
Virtual ticket purchasers will receive a viewing link approximately 30 minutes before the performance begins.
- The livestream link will be sent to the same email address used to purchase the virtual ticket.
- To help protect ticket revenue and support future livestream offerings, please do not share the livestream URL before or during the performance.
- This expectation applies to performers, ensemble directors, faculty, and audience members.
- Once the performance has concluded and the recording has been publicly archived, the permanent recording link may be shared freely.
Recording Availability Accordion Closed
Following a ticketed performance:
- The Video on Demand (VOD) version is typically added to the appropriate Auditoria Ensemble Playlist within approximately three business days.
- Ensemble directors who need access sooner for recruiting, accreditation, assessment, marketing, or similar purposes may contact Auditoria to request expedited access.
Free Events: Faculty, Student, Chamber & Guest Artist Recitals
Faculty recitals, student degree recitals, chamber performances, and guest artist events are generally livestreamed and archived on Auditoria’s YouTube channel.
Please note:
- These events do not automatically receive a retained high-quality master recording.
- The YouTube archive serves as the standard video deliverable for most free performances.
- Due to storage limitations, Auditoria cannot retain large recording files indefinitely.
- If you wish to download and preserve a YouTube recording, third-party software or services may be required.
YouTube Archives Accordion Closed
Most free performances are archived through Auditoria YouTube playlists.
These recordings are suitable for sharing, viewing, and reference purposes. However, YouTube applies audio and video compression, which may result in lower quality than the original source recording.
For many performances this difference is minimal, but students and faculty preparing auditions, applications, competitions, or professional submissions should carefully consider whether a higher-quality recording is needed.

If a high-quality video recording is important for your recital, performance, audition, application, competition submission, or professional portfolio, please communicate that need to Auditoria as early as possible.
Additional services may include:
- Multi-camera production
- PTZ camera operation
- High-quality video exports
- Up to 4K recording and livestreaming
- Expedited delivery
- Specialized recording workflows
- Dedicated recording sessions outside standard recital support
Early communication allows Auditoria to plan staffing, storage, equipment, and delivery requirements before the event.
Recording Delivery & Storage Accordion Open
When high-quality recordings are requested:
- Recordings are typically processed and delivered within approximately two weeks of the performance.
- Download links are generally available for two weeks after delivery.
- Performers and organizers are responsible for downloading and preserving their files during the availability period.
Because of storage limitations, recordings cannot be retained indefinitely.
For reference, a single high-quality RAW recording may exceed 1 TB of storage, and a two-hour performance recording can easily exceed 50 GB.
Expedited Requests Accordion Closed
Please notify Auditoria in advance if a recording is needed for:
- Applications
- Auditions
- Competitions
- Scholarship submissions

Whenever possible, Auditoria will work with performers and faculty to prioritize recording and delivery timelines.
