Medical Services

Health Promotion

Comprehensive medical care facility for preventative, routine, and immediate care. Offering immunizations, physical therapy, and nutrition support. In-person and telehealth options are available.

Programs and resources to help students stay healthy and safe. Topics include nutrition, relationships, sexual health, sexual violence, stress and substance use.


Live Well NAU

UCAN

Live Well NAU helps students, faculty, and staff manage 8 aspects of health: Intellectual, Occupational, Environmental, Spiritual, Financial, Physical, Emotional, and Social.

UCAN health coaches are compassionate NAU students who understand the challenges of college. They have completed a minimum of 45 hours of health coaching training.


NAU Resilience Project

Campus Connect

The Resilience Project is a training and resource to help students learn how to “bounce back” in the face of adversity.

Campus Connect gives presentations that can be from anything from stress management, to nutrition, to suicide prevention.


Dental Hygiene Clinic

Nutrition Counseling

Receive affordable and preventative Dental Services brought by experienced faculty and students.

The Campus Dietitian is available to all students and can help plan a meal plan for those on campus and can also coach students to eat a more healthy variety.


Physical Therapy Clinic

Campus Recreation

An affordable physical therapy clinic brought by experienced faculty and students. 

Rec Center, Intramurals, Aquatics, and sports clubs


FIT Courses

FIT 100 courses help students reduce stress, build social connections, and earn academic credit by adding physical activity to their weekly schedules.

LOUIECare Accordion Open

LOUIECare is not a health insurance plan but it allows students to have easy access to on-campus health care by eliminating deductibles, filing claims, and other hassles.

Student Health Insurance Plan Accordion Closed

The Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) provides health insurance to students who are uninsured or need a less expensive alternative.

AETNA Accordion Closed

The Flagstaff Medical Center is located just past downtown and is the largest medical center in Flagstaff.

North Country Healthcare Accordion Closed

North Country Healthcare provides services including behavioral health, ob/gyn, STI testing, dental, and standard care.

Northern AZ Healthcare Corp. Accordion Closed

The Northern Arizona Healthcare Corporation operates one of the largest medical centers in Flagstaff and provides for almost all medical needs.

Concentra Urgent Care Accordion Closed

Concentra Urgent Care offers more than just emergency services. They also provide physicals and occupational therapy.

NextCare Urgent Care Accordion Closed

NextCare Urgent Care is open 7am-7pm to provide emergency care. Visit their website to learn more.

Flagstaff Urgent Care Accordion Closed

Located near campus, Flagstaff Urgent Care treats all emergency medical situations.

Poore Free Medical Clinic Accordion Closed

The Poore Free Medical Clinic is a community based free healthcare service for low income and uninsured individuals and families.
