University Coaching for Activity and Nutrition
Making changes to improve your health and well-being can be hard. You don’t have to go it alone. Our health coaches can help.
Health coaching services are available for students, faculty, and staff who are residential, online or at satellite campuses. Appointments are available both in-person and virtually. Just let us know your preferred session format in the comments box when you sign up.
In addition to providing individual health coaching sessions, our health coaches create content to support the campus community in their health and well-being. Subscribe, follow, like and listen to health-related tips and strategies through our Instagram account, blog, and podcast.
UCAN health coaches are compassionate NAU students who understand the challenges of college. They have completed a minimum of 45 hours of health coaching training and are ready to help you tackle health-supporting changes such as:
- Eating more fruits and vegetables
- Being more physically active
- Self-acceptance / body positivity
- Becoming a more mindful eater
- Meal planning, grocery shopping, and food prep
- Stress management
Health coaches are not personal trainers and they aren’t dietitians. Health coaches are experts at supporting clients through the behavior change process. They provide counseling services to support you in whatever changes you’re interested in making.
Want to make small sustainable changes over the course of the semester that support your overall health and well-being? Now UCAN!
