Assists first-year students with the university transition through mentoring and social activities.

Tutoring
Offers tutoring, supplemental instruction, learning strategies, peer academic coaching, and graduate test prep.
The Learning Specialist will meet one on one to help students with anything from motivation, reading comprehension, and time management to test anxiety, and note-taking.
The Academic Success Center provides courses to help students succeed on all their graduate exams.
Provides one-on-one online writing assistance for students at all stages in the writing process across all programs and disciplines.
Offers writing resources to faculty and students by providing feedback and assistance with all stages of the writing process across all disciplines.
SI is a series of peer-facilitated weekly review session for students taking historically challenging courses.

Assists students with limited financial means in obtaining required course materials for classes by providing a $300 credit at the NAU Bookstore.
The Testing Center supports student success by offering exams that students may need to get into college, to obtain college credit, to place in college classes, and to prepare for life after college.
