Arizona Spouse of Military Veterans Tuition Scholarship
In 2022, the Arizona State Legislature established the Spouse of Military Veterans Tuition Scholarship and appropriated $10 million to the Arizona Board of Regents (ABOR), which has oversight of the program. The scholarship is a last-dollar scholarship intended to cover all tuition and fees. The first scholarship awards will take place in spring 2023. Eligibility criteria
This scholarship is available to individuals who meet all of the following criteria:
- enrolled at Arizona State University, Northern Arizona University, the University of Arizona, or an Arizona community college
- is a spouse of an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Armed Forces
- classified as an in-state student
- applied for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
- enrolled in a certificate, associate degree, or bachelor’s degree program
- completed a Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA) release form
How to apply
NAU students who wish to apply for this program will need to fill out the online application form and submit a copy of the service member’s DD-214 (member 4) form and a copy of their marriage certificate as an attachment.
How does this program work with the GI Bill®?
