If you’re planning on using your own vehicle to commute to and from campus, you’ll need to secure an NAU parking permit through University Transit Services. This is typically a commuter parking pass. You can find rates and parking maps on their website.

Familiarizing yourself with the different parking options adjacent to campus is crucial as parking can be unpredictable. There are a few places where you can pay to park (listed below). Alternatively, you can also park for free outside of the managed parking area.
When parking off campus, please be courteous to our community neighbors. Be aware that public street parking is enforced, and always give yourself plenty of time to avoid rushing.

Mountain Line is the city bus service around Flagstaff. Student passes can be purchased for a semester or for a one year period and allow students to access any route at any point on any day during the duration of their pass.
Mountain Line Route 10 connects the Downtown Connection Center to Woodlands Village via Northern Arizona University. NAU students ride Route 10 fare-free with student ID.
