The dining experience is an important part of campus life. Meal times provide opportunities for you to connect with friends, stay healthy, boost your energy, and unwind after a long day. First-year students living on campus must purchase one of the unlimited, weekly, or blended meal plans listed below. Questions? Check out our FAQs!
2025-2026 Weekly, Unlimited, and Blended Plans
Weekly plans provide a number of meals (19, 14 or 10) each week resetting Sunday mornings while the Unlimited plan allows access to the Hot Spot and the DüB Dining District as often as you like! Additionally, Dining Dollars are included in each meal plan to supplement the meals. The new Blended Plans include a weekly amount of meals (5 or 7), a block of meals to be used anytime, and also Dining Dollars.
Plus, weekly and block plan meals may be used as a “transfer special” in more than 23 retail locations across campus as well as in the Hot Spot and the DüB Dining District. Unlimited plan meals may be used in the Hot Spot and the DüB, but do not provide transfer special options in retail locations.
Dining Dollars: are built into each of the meal plans to expand your purchasing power across 27 Campus Dining locations including our campus markets.
Unlimited Meal Plan Accordion Closed
The unlimited plan allows for access to the Hot Spot or DüB Dining District during normal hours of service but does not provide access to transfer specials like the weekly meal plans.

2025-2026 Block/Commuter Meal Plans
For upperclassman and those who live off of campus, block meal plans provide a smaller, more flexible alternative. Block plans differ from weekly meal plans by providing a set number of meals for the entire semester with no weekly restrictions on the number of meals used. These plans are available to students living off campus, or those living on campus beyond their first year.

Sign Up
If you are living on campus, simply make your meal plan selection on your housing application. If not, log on to your LOUIE account, click “Self Service” and then click “Meal Plan Student Self Service” to select your plan. Here is a printable version of the contract. Complete the form and return to the Meal Plan Office in the University Union.

Dining Dollars
Dining Dollars are available independent of a meal plan. Use them for any purchase at Campus Dining locations, and you save sales tax (almost 11%)! Dining Dollars purchased in the fall semester carry over to the spring semester and expire on the final day of the spring semester. You may purchase Dining Dollars online.

Important Information
When you purchase a meal plan, the current year’s rates are guaranteed for two years. If a meal plan has changed, you will have the option of choosing the new meal plan at the new rate or retaining the previous year’s plan at the rates published for the previous year.

2025-2026 Meal Plan Service Days
Fall 2025 meal plans begin on Thursday, August 21 and go through Friday, December 12.
The first and last weeks are pro-rated:
Opening week (Thursday, August 21 through Saturday, August 23) is a partial week with 3 meal days.
Finals week (Sunday, December 7 through Friday, December 12) is a partial week with 6 meal days.
The last day to make any meal plan changes, for the fall semester, is September 5, 2025.
Spring 2026 meal plans begin on Saturday, January 10 and go through Friday, May 8.
The first, spring break, and last weeks are pro-rated:
Opening week (Saturday, January 10) is a partial week with 1 meal day.
The week prior to Spring break (Sunday, March 1 through Friday, March 6) is a partial week with 6 meal days. There will be no meal days from Saturday, March 7 through Saturday, March 14.
Finals week (Sunday, May 3 through Friday, May 8) is a partial week with 5.5 meal days.
The last day to make any meal plan changes, for the spring semester, is January 23, 2026.
Payments Accordion Closed
Meal plan charges appear on your LOUIE account. You can pay in full, or in three equal installments throughout the semester through Student and Departmental Account Services.
Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 payment dates: Meal plan payment dates align with tuition due dates.
Meal Periods Accordion Closed
Weekly meal plans allow up to three meals each meal period.
- Breakfast: 7 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
- Lunch: 10:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- Dinner: 4 p.m. – 9 p.m.
- Late Night: 9 p.m. to close
