Voluntary Benefit Dates
You have 30 days from your hire date to enroll in voluntary benefits such as health care. Your coverage will begin the first day of the pay period following your completed enrollment. Use the chart below to determine the date your voluntary benefit coverage begins.

Health Care ID Cards*
Your enrollment information will be sent to the vendor on the date your coverage is effective.
- It will take several days before your enrollment shows on the provider’s eligibility portal.
- Once on the portal, you can register for an account and print a temporary ID Card.
- The vendor will mail your ID card to your HOME address within 2 weeks.
- Visit the ‘Your Benefit Contacts’ webpage for the provider’s website address and customer service phone number.
