Sustainability Career Day

Project Summary:

The Sustainability Career Day, a collaborative effort between the Climate Science and Solutions program and NAU Career Development, bridges the gap between academic study and professional impact. This annual event connects undergraduate and graduate students with a diverse roster of alumni and local professionals working at the forefront of climate science and sustainability. Through interactive panel sessions and networking mixers, the project exposes students to a wide array of green career pathways—from policy to technical solutions. By facilitating these meaningful mentorship connections, the initiative not only supports student success but also strengthens the region’s green workforce, empowering graduates to translate their education into tangible environmental action immediately upon entering the workforce.
