Green Transportation Week
Join us for a week of fun, sustainability, and community building!
Dates: September 2 – 5, 2025
What is Green Transportation Week?
Ditch the car and use an alternative form of transportation when you come to campus this week! You can ride your bike or scooter, walk on the Flagstaff Urban Trail System, take the Mountain Line bus or NAU Campus Shuttle, or carpool with a friend. When you participate you can enter to win prizes! Students, faculty, and staff are all invited to participate!
How do I enter the prize raffle?
Click here to report your participation and fill out our raffle entry form! Report your sustainable commute on our raffle entry form every day. You can enter every day of the week (4 entries total per person). Winners will be chosen on Friday, September 5 and notified via email. The raffle entry form will open on September 2! It will close on Friday, September 5 at 2:00pm, so get your entries in before then.
Prizes:
- 1 electric bike
- 1 electric scooter
- 5 NAU baseball caps
- 5 NAU beanies
- 5 quick-dry towels
- 5 bike U-locks
Bonus! NAU employees can earn 200 points for the Health Impact Program (HIP) for their participation!
Event Schedule
The Green Commuter Fuel Stop
- Date: Tuesday @ 7:30 – 9:30am
- Location: Outside the Union and DuBois Center
- Stop by one of our 2 locations for snacks and coffee to refuel the most sustainable form of transportation – yourself!
Green Transportation Expo
- Dates: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday @ 11am – 1pm
- Location: Union Pedway
- Chat with the Office of Sustainability, register your bike, learn about NAU transportation options, get a tour of NAU’s electric police vehicle, and more!
