Green Office Certification Program

Green Office Certification (GOC) program provides a great opportunity for faculty and staff around campus to make a difference in the field of sustainability. The program lays out a foundation for your office to make a positive impact on campus. Upon completion of each level, your office will reduce the environmental impacts that coincide with your daily operations. Discover what other offices have accomplished under the Green Office Certification program.

Who can Participate?

The GOC program is focused on offices all over campus. This might be a department office, building floor, an academic program, part of a hallway, or a whole building. It’s up to you! Our goal is to spread the culture of sustainability across all departments at NAU.

Join Us at Our Green Office Certification Virtual Info Session!

We are excited for our relaunch after spending some time adapting the program to our new virtual world.

The training will take place on Friday, April 16th at 2:30PM. We hope to see you, and many more there! Please share the flyer and information about the program with your co-workers, or anyone who you think would be interested in participating in the Green Office Certification Program.

How to Become Certified

  1. Begin by downloading & reading the

  2. If you think your office is eligible for certification, contact us at sustainability@nau.edu
  3. The Office of Sustainability will meet with you to determine which level of Green Office Certification your office has achieved and help find new ways to incorporate sustainability into your office!
