Pot Painting and Planting

Project Summary:

The Pot Painting and Planting event is an engaging, hands-on initiative designed to educate the student body about the Green Fund and broader campus sustainability efforts. Hosted centrally near the campus bookstore to maximize visibility, this collaborative event between the Green Jacks and SSLUG successfully draws approximately 150 students. By providing plants and pots for participants to paint, the gathering creates a welcoming, interactive environment where students actively learn how their Green Fee is utilized and how they can access sustainability resources. This outreach initiative serves as a vital educational touchpoint, connecting students with the natural environment while expanding environmental awareness and fostering an eco-conscious culture across the university.
