- Day 2: Olivia Amador, co-author of The Teacher Clarity Playbook, will build from Day 1. You will align lessons, objectives, and outcomes into seamless learning—discover how your classroom hours flow for everyone.
- Day 3: John San Giovanni, author of Productive Struggle, will teach you how to value and harness student struggles as you help students develop good habits.
You will come away from the GEAR UP Math Institute with many new strategies to implement during your algebra planning and instruction. In addition, you will develop new skills to help you build a successful learning community and strategies that will help you identify and address the diverse needs of students as you help them learn and master algebra. To help ensure high impact for all students, you will plan vertical instruction across all grade levels.
