Graduating high school and planning a postsecondary journey is an accomplishment to be celebrated. Our 5E’s of Equity Schools held their very own Senior Signing Days to recognize graduating seniors. During these events, seniors were honored as they committed to various postsecondary pathways, including college, trade schools, workforce, military, and more!
Amphitheater High School (Tucson, Arizona)
At Amphitheater High School, students gathered in the Auditorium to kick off their Senior Signing Day ceremony. Each student was individually celebrated as they walked on stage accompanied by their future school’s fight song. Students made their way to the signing table at center stage and committed to their postsecondary journey. Exiting the stage, students received an official t-shirt from their school of choice before signing Amphi’s Class of ’22 banner. After the ceremony, students were provided a luncheon and had the opportunity to take photos in their Class of ’22 photobooth.
Buckeye Union High School (Buckeye, Arizona)
Buckeye Union High School combined their Senior Signing Day with their graduation practice. Hundreds of future graduates dressed in caps and gowns filled the gymnasium as they celebrated their accomplishments and gathered to sign their class banner. Each student was photoshoot ready as they took pictures together before heading out to graduation practice.
Tonopah Valley High School (Tonopah, Arizona)
Tonopah Valley High School hosted its “Senior Recognition Night” to celebrate the Class of ’22. The Scholarship Showdown is an annual competition where students are encouraged to apply for as many scholarships as possible. The winners are awarded various prizes including a top prize of a new laptop for school.
