Possible Futures Career Exploration Curriculum helps students in grades 6 – 10 explore STEM occupations, develop essential skills such as collaboration and communication, and learn how to positively contribute to their communities. The Lenses on the Future Unit guides students through the process of creating an Education and Career Action Plans (ECAP). With these 12 lessons, combined with the Arizona-specific career research tool, My Future Az, teachers can lead students through the exploration, reflection, and documentation elements of their individual ECAPs.
The Arizona Pathways to Prosperity Team at the Center for the Future of Arizona (CFA) supports the development of the middle school ECAP tool, My Future Az, along with the Arizona Department of Education (ADE). The Pathways team provides custom, in-person training sessions with schools on the Possible Futures Career Exploration Curriculum and My Future Az. In-person training can be scheduled for early March or May. Virtual trainings or demo sessions are also available upon request. To request a training session or demo, contact Maya Watts, Project Manager, Maya.watts@arizonafuture.org │ 602.819.4050.
