Comptroller’s office is responsible for:
- Finance Service Delivery teams provides travel, depositing, and other financial services.
- Student and Departmental Accounts provides student billing, payment services, refunds for university tuition and fees, and other services.
- Financial Accounts Services delivers university-wide financial accounting. This includes general accounting, disbursement processing, cash management, and debt financing support.
- Cost accounting delivers Service Centers and Fee for Service rates.
- Financial Reporting, Analysis and Controls provides financial reporting, continuous control monitoring, and financial results analysis.
Office of Sustainability is responsible for:
- Engaging NAU students, employees, and community members around sustainable initiatives to fulfill our vision. The Office utilizes NAU’s Sustainability Action Plan to promote environmental stewardship in the areas of Recycling and Waste Minimization, Transportation, Operations, Procurement, Water, Energy and Climate Change, Academics, and Research.
Contracts, Purchasing and Risk Management is responsible for:
- Accounts Payable. Reviews and processes payments to NAU’s suppliers and community members.
- Campus Supply. Serves as the central receiving location for NAU and stocks and delivers commonly used items to campus departments.
- Contracts. Prepares and negotiates a variety of contracts and agreements for NAU’s programs and activities.
- Property Administration. Manages NAU’s fixed assets and disposes of NAU’s surplus property.
- Purchasing. Acquires all goods and services for NAU while ensuring ethical, cost effective, sustainable, informed, and compliant purchasing decisions are made.
- Real Estate. Processes, reviews and advises on real property initiatives to include acquisitions, sales, easements, and transfers.
- Risk Management. Administers the property and liability insurance program on behalf of NAU and advises on risk mitigation and loss prevention strategies.
Internal Audit is responsible for:
- Providing independent, objective assurance and consulting services that improve the operations of NAU.
- Facilitating the implementation of Enterprise Risk Management.
Campus Services and Activities is responsible for:
- Central Ticket Office providing tickets for high school athletics, music, theatre, dance, and much more.
- Jacks Card Services providing the official identification card for Northern Arizona University students, faculty, staff, and affiliates.

- Dining Services providing a healthy and safe dining experience.
- Student Unions offers the finest services and amenities for the students and visitors of Northern Arizona University through providing access to a variety of student services, being a hub for student support departments, and providing excellent dining options.

University Budget Office is responsible for:
- Developing overall budget planning, monitoring the budgetary resources of the University, providing general analytic support, administering the budgeting system, and position management.
