Last Friday, March 2nd, we deployed a new version of the NAU Enterprise theme. This new version can be seen in the dev, qa, and production environments. An update to staging will come later this week. Below are a lists of notes that accompany the release. Faculty & Staff Directory
An automated faculty and staff directory feature will replace the current manually-built directories on college, department and business unit websites. All units will have a Faculty/Staff Directory link that automatically populates a page with information faculty and staff contact details from the NAU Directory based on the department. (more…)

Image filename
- 5 to 7 descriptive words
- Lowercase
- Hyphens instead of spaces
- No special characters
- E.g. nau-ambassador-talking-to-students.jpg
Media library caption
Unless you want an image caption to automatically appear on your webpage, please do not populate the caption field.
Media library title
- Title of each image to match file name
- Use spaces instead of hyphens
- Use appropriate capitalization
- E.g. NAU ambassador talking to students
Media library alt text
- Complete sentence structure
- E.g. Male freshman student happily interacts with NAU Student Ambassador.

Choosing appropriate text for links on a web page
Meaningful link text makes pages more friendly for visitors and search engines.
The Correct Way
The link text should always describe what the user will see when they click on it. It should never be “Click Here”, “Here”, or the URL itself. For example, these are appropriate ways to include a link:
