From the PM: Project Updates

Here are a few highlights from the project team:

  • We will transition a major service, direction of URLs via a server called a load balancer, the weekend of 8/5-8/6. This will remove on-site dependencies for direction of web traffic. The result will be that our main website stays up in the event NAU has a network outage.
  • Our development roadmap through this quarter includes more work on the enterprise WordPress theme and some major integrations with other systems:

Inaugural meeting of the Web Advisory Council

What the WAC is

A governance committee that is part of the official IT and Data Governance structure at NAU. This council will advise the governance Trustees on matters concerning our web sites and web technology capabilities.
