Here are a few highlights from the project team:
- We will transition a major service, direction of URLs via a server called a load balancer, the weekend of 8/5-8/6. This will remove on-site dependencies for direction of web traffic. The result will be that our main website stays up in the event NAU has a network outage.
- Our development roadmap through this quarter includes more work on the enterprise WordPress theme and some major integrations with other systems:
- Faculty/Staff directory – WordPress integration with our LDAP Directory and Faculty 180
- Syndication of news across sites
- Events calendar integration
- Academic catalog widget styling and integration into WP
- In the next two weeks we will plan out the next quarter’s feature roadmap.
- The consulting team is currently engaged with more than half a dozen departments and making good progress on working through menu structures and page migrations.
- This website will be revamped in the next few days with some menu updates and added information!
