Why do I need to submit projects six months or more ahead of their due date? Accordion Closed
Any project involving ITS moves forward on a priority basis. Upon submittal for completion, your project will be analyzed by the Strategic Project Review and Resource Committee (SPRRC), which allocates resources and determines prioritization for each project. Early submittal ensures your project will be done on time.
Our project needs to be done ASAP. How can we accomplish this? Accordion Closed
1.) Submit the request with as much detail as possible.
2.) Contact us and let us know it’s urgent. We will schedule a meeting with your project team to discuss next steps.
Can I work with ITS directly on my project? Accordion Closed
Certain projects that involve ITS may not need to go thorough formal SPRRC review. Examples include:
- the Express Process with the OnBase team
- creating and modifying reports in Business Objects with the Enterprise Reporting Team
ITS determines if the scope of your project merits formal review. It is recommended your team plan six or more months in advance to ensure internal deadlines are met.
How can I get a status update on a project I submitted? Accordion Closed
If working directly with Student Affairs, you will receive regular project updates. Otherwise, status updates are communicated monthly to the division vice presidents.
