College/Career Readiness & Awareness Rubric – Middle Grades
Based on research, and experience with the Middle Grade Initiative, Arizona GEAR UP created a rubric that K-8 schools, middle schools, and junior high schools can use to assess school culture. The document, accessed by way of the link below, includes instructions for school-wide administration of the rubric. Following analysis and discussion of the results, schools are encouraged to look at Strategies & Activities for Building a College-Going Culture – Middle Grades to select, and commit to, activities and/or strategies to implement to address areas that have been identified as needing attention.
